Stacy Garcia Inc. is seeking a highly motivated videographer/photographer to help create compelling visual storytelling content with marketing and design teams.
The ideal candidate takes creative initiative, is a team player and is able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Reel/Portfolio Required.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- 1-5 years’ experience in video/motion graphic design/photo
- Bachelor’s degree in videography/art/design
- Proficiency in video editing, still photography, and creating cinemagraphs and animated GIFs.
- Strong understanding of lighting
- Demonstrates ability to understand and interpret brand needs, and to develop innovative creative solutions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong ability to multi-task / juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work with minimal direction, showing strong initiative
- Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with support, executive management, creative supervisors, etc.
- Ideas orientated – creativity is key
- Understanding of audio capture, music usage and footage clearance
- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, primarily focused on Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Essential Responsibilities
- All phases of video and audio production, including camera operation, prepping of lights and audio equipment, editing, gathering and managing content for videos
- Work directly with creative/art directors, stylists and project managers on the development of photo and video shoots. Make creative recommendations based on shoot direction and budget parameters
- Preparing content for distribution across multiple platforms
- Responsible for quality control for all aspects of graphic production and content for digital and social video projects
- Expected to create scripted and non-scripted videos
- Create and design graphic layouts, templates and animations for social media platforms
- Initiate and create new social graphic concepts
- Help in maintaining production calendar
- Digital post-production
- Handle all pre-shoot logistics
